On 24-26 April, the Cities.Multimodal project workshop was organised in Turku (Finland). Lauri Jorasmaa, Head of Public Transport Planning at Turku Region Traffic, shared Turku’s experience in developing sustainable multimodal transportation system: today Turku has a well-developed bike rental service, a single e-ticket for public transport, and in the future it is planned to introduce a tram system.

The Pskov City Administration was presented by Kristina Kobyz, Head of Department for Implementation of Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes and Yury Martynov, Head of Department for Culture, jointly with representatives of the ICSER Leontief Centre – Olga Iakimenko and Elena Belova, being also the Green Mobility Project Coordinators. The workshop participants discussed issues of improving communication and efficiency of project management, planned study visits to the cities, which have successfully developed and applied sustainable urban mobility solutions, and selected the project logo.
